Joseph Lee "Joey" Easley, 67 of El Dorado passed away Sunday, October 04, 2015, in El Dorado.
Joey was born June 18, 1948 to the union of Myril Lee Easley and Frances Juanita Orr Easley in El Dorado.
Joey was a very gentle and kind hearted person, he started out his career working his way through college at Western Union riding a bicycle delivering telegrams and then Colonial Bakery. After he graduated from Southern State in 1972 he went to work as a Teacher, then for Family and Children Services, and after that he was employed for 30 Years with the Rehabilitation for the Blind until his illness prevented him from working.
He was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church and the Chellette Hunting Club
He was preceded in death by his parents;
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Frances "Fran" Alphin Easley, his beloved son; Jeffrey Scott Easley and wife Nancy, a daughter; Jacquie Easley, all of El Dorado, three grandchildren; Lauren Easley Archer and husband Zach of Bentonville, Blake Easley and Bailey Gould, both of El Dorado, two brothers; Robert "Bobby" Easley of El Dorado and Billy R. Easley of Oatmeal TX, two sisters; Janet Warren and Mary Lancaster, both of El Dorado. And numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6, 2015, 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in the Bailey Funeral Home, Chapel in El Dorado. Interment will be in the Arlington Memorial Park, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado, AR.
Any planned memorials may be made to the Parkview Baptist Church, Building Fund.
