Billy Joe Dunn, 77, of El Dorado passed away at his home Saturday, December 15, 2012.
He was born January 19, 1935 to James Dunn and Mildred Givens Dunn in Camden Arkansas.

Mr. Dunn was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist faith and also a member of the El Dorado Bass Club. He worked as a distributor for McKee Baking Company, better known as the maker of Little Debbie snack cakes .He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great –grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was known for his standard catchphrase answer to questions about his well-being of "barely getting by".

He is preceded by his parents, his mother and father –in-law Shaw and Velma Oliver. He has also been reunited with his two daughters Betty Bennett and Beverly Graham, along with his grandchildren Michael Gibson and Adrianne Reynolds.

Mr. Dunn will be greatly missed by his wife of fifty two years, Bernice Oliver Dunn, and their daughter Linda Harvey and her husband Randy of El Dorado; two granddaughters, Jennifer Baker and her husband Bryan of El Dorado, and Carolyn Franco of Hallsville Texas. Also surviving are his sisters, Betty Carol Hale of Alhambra, California, and Libby Goldman of Los Angeles, California, along with his brother Ed Dunn and his wife Tillie of Santa Fe, Texas.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday December, 18, 2012, at Young's Funeral Directors with Dr. Matt Pearson and Rev. Faron Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
