Laura Lynette Woods, 24, of Emerson, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in Minden, La. She was born Oct. 21, 1990 to Kelvin Baker and Patrina Woods.
She was preceded in death by two great-grandmothers, Annie Mae Crisson and Annie Lee Edwards; two great-grandfathers, John Henry Critton and Authur Edward; and two grandfathers, Alvin Baker and John Critton Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Isis Cornelious; mother and step-father, Patrina Woods and Christopher Manning; father, Kelvin Baker; grandparents, Johnnie Critton, Authur Woods and Lucy Baker; siblings, DeKelvin Hunter, Cadeshia Manning, Kimothy Manning, Trina Manning, TaCorua Woods, Christopher Woods, and Isahia Manning; and seven aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25 at Youngblood Auditorium in Magnolia, with Rev. Michael Story officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Emerson, under the direction of Marks Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. today at Marks Funeral Home in Magnolia.
