McPHERSON, Lem - Lem McPherson, 45 years old, special Fayetteville negro policeman, was shot and killed Saturday night by Everett Williams, another negro. The killing took place in in up, the negro settlement, and Williams is said to have been drunk. At the last report he was still at large.
