Joseph Jacob Dobrovich was born in Kriviany Czech. on September 14 1881 to John Dobrovich & Mary Plafcan Dobrovich. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1898, and landed in Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 17. He became a U.S. citizen on October 21 1905. Joseph worked in Baltimore Md.,Detroit Mi.,Cleveland Oh., before he moved to Slovak Ar. on May 20 1920. While working in Cleveland He met Julia Saksa and they married on January 25 1904. They had seven children, Joseph T. Dobrovich Jr. was born in Letonia Oh. Dec./22/1904, and Steve Nov./5/1907, and Elizabeth Dobrovich Janoviak May/16/1910, and Helen Dobrovich Papan Dec./21/1915, and Martin Aug./4/1917 were all born in Mansfield Oh.. After they moved to Slovak Ar. in 1920 they had Mary Jane Dobrovich July/ 27/1921 and Adeline Dobrovich May/7/1925. Joseph was a farmer after he moved to Arkansas. Joseph died at his home on June/10/1960 at the age of 78 and he is buried at Saint Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church Cemetery Slovak Ar.

Julia Saksa Dobrovich was born in Torysa, Austria-Hungary on Sept./29/1882 to John Saksa and Rosalia Grics Saksa. She immigrated to U.S. When she was 19 years old and met and married Joseph in Cleveland Oh. Julia Died June/6/1968 at the age of 85 at Memorial Hospital in North Little Rock Ar.. She is also Buried at Saint Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church Cemetery in Slovak Ar..
