Steve was born Nov.5, 1907 in Mansfield, Ohio to Joe and Julia Saksa Dobrovich. He married Marie Leona Dierks of Fairmount on November 5, 1936. Steve and Marie had four children, Rose Marie, born September 4, 1940; Franklin Albert, born October 11, 1943; George William, born November 30, 1946; and Martha Jean, born August 1, 1948. He was a farmer all of his life. He died at Stuttgart Memorial Hospital on November 17, 1995. He is buried in Saint Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church Cemetery in Slovak, Arkansas.
Marie was born August 14, 1911, to Ben H. and Helen Mauer Dierks at Fairmount, Arkansas. She died on January 2, 1999 and is buried at Slovak along side her husband, Steve.
