Obituary
William Harrison Davis, age 91, of Judsonia, Arkansas, passed away Friday, September 10, 2004, at White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. Born in Bee Branch, Arkansas, on August 16, 1913, he was the son of the late Joe and Nettie (Gibons) Davis. Mr. Davis had served as a pastor for over sixty years. His religious belief was Baptist. He had been a resident of Oakdale Nursing Home and was a former resident of Bradford, Arkansas. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his first wife, Velma Woods Davis; his wife, Velva Cross Davis; and one stepson, Ray Cross, Jr. of Little Rock, AR. Survivors include one son, Alton Davis of Evansville, Indiana, two stepsons, Duane Cross of Bald Knob, AR, and Larry Cross of Little Rock, AR, and nine grandchildren. Rev. Davis is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
