Longview resident Barbara E. Crull, 82, passed away March 6, 2010, at the Hospice Care Center.
She was born Oct. 21, 1927, in Bee Branch, Ark., to Edgar and Maggie (Granger) Payne. She was raised in Arkansas and moved to Longview in 1946.
She married Eldon E. Crull. He preceded her in death in 1980.
Barbara was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, reading, embroidering and visiting her large family.
She is survived by a son, Clifford Crull of Tri-Cities; a daughter, Margaret Pond and her husband, Ralph, of Longview; her brothers, Winston Payne of Longview and Charles Payne in Arkansas; her sisters, Emily Neighbors, Daisy Nelson, Joyce Venable, Katherine Grigg and Judy Simmons, all in Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also blessed with her grandchildren, DeAnn Carmen, Ron Shannon Jr., Jennifer Norton, Eldon, Kevin and Kyle Crull, and Jason and Melinda Pond; many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband, Eldon; she was preceded by her brothers Earl, Thomas and Royce Payne; her sisters, Louella Yeager, Peggy Watkins, Norman Payne, Oneata Bird, Marvella Payne and Eva Lee Payne; and two great-grandchildren, Evan Crull and Marie Schaffer.
No service will be held at her request.
