SPRINGDALE — William Park McFerrin, 90, of Springdale passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at Springdale. He was born Aug. 5, 1924, in Kingston, Ark., to George and Esta Weathers McFerrin.

Park served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was a route salesman for Fuels & Supplies. He enjoyed beekeeping, hunting, fishing and spending time out at the farm in Kingston.

Survivors include Bebe Dale McFerrin of the home to whom he was married Dec. 25, 1947; one son, Jerry Leon Burgess and wife, Katie, of Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Denise Diane Peterson of Summerville, S.C., and Debbie Francis and husband, Jon, of Fayetteville; two brothers, Wendell McFerrin and Carroll McFerrin, both of Springdale; four grandchildren, Jason Peterson, Nathan Peterson, Lauren Eoff and Matthew Francis; and four great-grandchildren, Justin Peterson, Chase Peterson, Cody Peterson and Vivien Eoff.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with the Rev. Charlie Foster officiating.

Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation will be today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
