Son of Chester and Dallas Vest Barnum, he married Mildred Presley on Sept. 21, 1946.
Surviving are three sons, Charles, Jack and Alan; three daughters, Kathie Barnum, Karen Sidell and Linda Tindall; his father; one brother, Dave; three sisters, Mrs. Herb (Betty) Garrison, Mrs. Lynn (Hazel) Cunningham and Mrs. Farrell (Faye) Pierce; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
His mother and his stepmother, Annie Pierce, preceded him in death.
He worked at Corn Products Corp. in Pekin for 30 years.
