June 4, 1886 - July 23, 1966
John D. Nunnally, 80, of Strong died Saturday morning at his home. Mr. Nunnally was born June 4, 1886 in Strong and was the son of John Davis and Mary Tomline Berry Nunnally. He was a retired farmer and merchant of the Strong area. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Strong and a member of the Strong Masonic Lodge. Survivors include two sons, J. Q. Nunnally of Pine Bluff and C. E. Nunnally of Camden; a daughter, Mrs. J. Watt Griffin of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Abb Plair of Strong and Mrs. T. J. Plair of El Dorado; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Strong Baptist Church with the Rev. S. M. Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Strong Cemetery under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be John Lee Jones, Howard Nelson, Alvis Little, Charles Lewis, Charles Johnson and Alton Vestal.
