Tom Hardy Cassell, 77, of Rt. 2 in Chidester, died Friday. Funeral services for Mr. Cassell will be held today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Proctor Funeral Home. Burial will be in Missouri Cemetery under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. Mr. Cassell was a member of Missouri Methodist Church, and was retired from the American Bridge Company. Mr. Cassell is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nora Lampkin Cassell; three sons, Billy and L. J. Cassell, both of Hebron, Ind. and Calvin Cassell of Merrillville, Ind.; five daughters, Mrs. Walter Bearden and Mrs. Howard Smith, both of Camden, Mrs. Bob Welches of Portage, Ind., Mrs. Edward Rogers of Merrillville, Ind. and Mrs. Frank Sutkowski of Griffith, Ind.; two brothers, Tommy and Lloyd Cassell, both of Chidester; four sisters, Mrs. Lilly Williams and Mrs. Lottie Geogan, both of Camden; Mrs. Cora Stinnett and Mrs. Lou Lamkin, both of Chidester, 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
