Julia Gossett Stuckey, age 78, of Little Rock, formerly of Bearden, died Sunday, March 29, 1998. Born March 14, 1920 at Bearden, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Ozella Gossett. She was an elementary school teacher and taught in the Pine Bluff and Bearden schools over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, John Eric Stuckey, Sr. Survivors include three sons, John Stuckey and wife, Barbara, of Little Rock, Jim Stuckey and wife, Annette, of Russellville, and Bill Stuckey and wife, Karen, of Camden; two sisters, Ethel Burton and Maratha Milner, both of Hot Springs, and five grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, March 31, at Moss Hill Cemetery at Bearden with Dr. John Wright Officiating. Arrangements were by Benton Funeral Home, Inc.
