June 7, 1925 - January 23, 2005
Fred Goodwin, age 79, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Bearden, died Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Kansas City. Born June 7, 1925 at Holly Grove, he was a son of the late Albert Goodwin and Nealie Rhodes. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Goodwin of Kansas City, MO; three sons, Fred Goodwin, Jr. of Camden, Charles Goodwin and Tecola Goodwin, both of Bearden; two daughters, Kelly Waller of Fordyce and Angela Goodwin of Bearden; three sisters, Mosetta Terry and Johnnie B. Sevier, both of St. Louis, MO, and Pearlie Teaglue of Clarendon; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, in the First Baptist Church at Bearden. Burial will be in Moss Hill Cemetery at Bearden by Marks Funeral Home.
