Coby Cook Sr., 80, passed away February 22, 2014 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Ruthie Mae Smalley Cook; a son, Coby Dale Cook, Jr,; a sister, Hilda Faye Benson; and a grandson, Robert Hernandez.
Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Ann Brown Cook; three daughters, Diana Moseley of Stephens, AR, Angelia Ray and husband, Donnie of Camden, AR, and Ginger Baker and husband, David of Magnet Cove, AR; two stepsons, Billie Ellis of Monticello, AR and Stevie Ellis and his wife, Lori of Hampton, AR; six grandchildren, Vincent Kennebeck, Lawson Moseley, Adam Merritt, Andrew Merritt, Eric Cross, and Britney Hernandez; three step-grandchildren, Stephen Ellis, Chase Ellis, and April Ellis; ten great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; a sister, Sylvia Cook Higgs Oliver and her husband, Sam of Locust Bayou, AR; a brother, Joe Cook and his wife of Norfolk, VA; special friends Mike and Gail Massey and all of his church family.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be 2:00 Monday at the Cullendale Assembly of God with Sam Higgs and Chris Cleveland officiating followed by interment at Means Cemetery near Hampton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cullendale Assembly of God Building Fund, 3250 Cash Road, Camden, AR 71701.
