FLINT, Mich. — Julius B. Russell, age 93, of Flint formerly of Arkansas, died Dec. 2, 2015. Private services were held. Arrangements handled by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, Mich.
Julius was born June 19, 1922 in Walnut Ridge, Ark., the son of Irvy and Elsie (Borah) Russell. He married Irene F. Hudson in Memphis, Tenn. on Feb. 27, 1948. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was employed at GM.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Irene Russell; four children, Anna M. (Chris) Davis, Judy (James) McAuley, Roger T. (Teresa) Russell; two grandchildren, Jon M. McAuley, Maohaela E. Russell; sister, Joyce Payne.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Walter F. Russell.
