Friday, December 15, 1893
J.H. Rhodes died at his home in this city Wednesday afternoon. He recently came to this place from Missouri. He was 61 years of age and a member of the South Methodist Church. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the church, being conducted by Revs. Johnsey, Harlan and Burns. Interment followed immediately after services in the Bluff cemetery. The News extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
