Resolved, That we extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family. Resolved, That these resolutions be spread upon the records of the Sunday School, and a copy thereof be transmitted to the family of our deceased sister, and to the newspaper of Springdale. Dr. D. [Resolutions of Respect] Springdale, Arkansas, July 1, 1901. The Womans Christian Temperance in session this day resolves, That, as God who "moves in a mysterious way" has removed from us, and called in a perfect life, our beloved sister Anna Long, we do hereby extend our warmest and most heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved husband and children. We recognized in sister Long an earnest worker, and an ardent upholder of the temperance cause. Her voice was ever for "God and the right." We believe that every cause to which she lent a helping hand was made stronger thereby, and although called up higher she will be "remembered by what she has done." We are by her faithfulness and seal admonished to "weary not in well doing." Resolved further that a copy of these resolutions be sent the bereaved family, also spread upon the records of this Union and published in the Springdale News. Mrs. J.H. Shinn, Pres.; Mrs. Abner Horton, Sec.
