ROGERS — Barbara Ann Loper, 81, of Rogers died March 22, 2000, at Beverly Health Care in Rogers. She was born Jan. 23, 1919, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, to Francis T. and Ruby Martin Pemberton. She was employed by the aircraft industry in California during World War II and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rogers and the American Legion. She moved to Rogers in 1990 from Houston, Texas. Her husband, Robert Lee Loper, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Loper of Bentonville and John Loper of Disney, Okla.; two daughters, Betty Johnson of Magnolia, Texas, and Lori Flemings of Warsaw, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rogers with Bishop Ron L. Gorden officiating.
Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Burns Funeral Home in Bentonville.
