ROGERS — Edward "Bud" Jewell, 81, of Rogers died March 19, 2000, at his home. He was born March 19, 1919, in Jersey City, N.J., to Edward and Madeline Jewell. He moved to Rogers in 1963 from Benton Harbor, Mich., and was a self-employed carpenter. He attended Sunnyside Baptist Church in Rogers.
Survivors include his wife, Una Jewell of the home, to whom he was married 35 years; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary Wilbur and Linda of Rogers; one grandson, Lee of Bentonville; two sisters, Patricia Frew of Piscataway, N.J., and Lavina Canzanelli of Montross, Va.; five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with Marvin Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
