ROGERS — Linda Ruth Konert, 65, of Rogers Ark., died Aug. 8, 2011, in Springdale, Ark., at Circle of Life Hospice Home after a tough battle with cancer. She was born March 24, 1946, in Garden City, Kan., to Donald S. Dunlap and Martha L. Jones Dunlap.
Along with the love for her grandkids, she enjoyed working in her flower beds, growing fresh vegetables and canning those veggies. We will have a hard time trying to figure out that salsa recipe!
Survivors include two daughters, Candice Grimes, Rhonda Day and husband, Dennis; five grandchildren, Cristina Wishon and husband, Charlie, Cynthia Grimes, Levi Ball, Corley and Wyatt Day; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Sophia Wishon; three stepsons; one stepdaughter; five brothers and two sisters.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at Stockdale Funeral Services.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Stockdale Funeral Chapel in Rogers, with Mr. Jack Eaton officiating. Burial will be at Bentonville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in honor of Linda Ruth Konert to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale AR 72764.
