BELLA VISTA — Charles Curtis "Charlie" Donaghey, 66, of Bella Vista died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. Charlie was born Feb. 24, 1944 in Huntsville, Ark., to the late Eddie Lee and Evelyn (Wade) Donaghey.

Charlie loved being outside, spending time with friends and family, and playing with his toys — namely his golf clubs, cue stick and antique cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Kellie Donaghey Oliver.

Survivors include his wife, LaVita, of the home; four daughters, Angie Donaghey-Francis and her husband Donald of Bella Vista; Amy Kesner of Bella Vista; Dawn Hill and her husband Clay of Dallas, Texas; Heather Walker and her husband Doug of Fayetteville; one brother, Howard Donaghey of Springdale, Ark.; one sister, Eve Adams of Southwest City, Mo.; one grandson, Tyler Ferguson; and six granddaughters, including Morgan Kesner.

Services for Charlie will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Bella Vista Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010, at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Donaghey Memorial Scholarship Fund at any Arvest Bank.
