BELLA VISTA — Betty L. Beggs, 73, of Bella Vista died March 13, 2002, at her bone. She was born June 28, 1928, in Centralia, Ill., to Ezra and Stella Walters Cripps. She moved to Bella Vista in 1985 from Ellis, Kan. She was a homemaker, an avid golfer and bowler a enjoyed gardening. She was an executive committee member of the Union Pacific Junior Old Timers for five years. She was an active Brownie and Girl Scout leader and was active in the Christ Lutheran Church and other community activities.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Beggs, to whom she was married Jan. 8, 1948; one daughter, Laura McCoy and husband Randy of Sunny Hills, Fla.; three grandchildren, Michael Allen of Chicago, Ill., Amber Allen of Atlanta, Ga., and Rebecca Barton of Eaton, Ohio.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Nazarene Church in Bentonville with John Lightsey officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville.
