BENTONVILLE — Alva Lee Farrar, 37, of Bentonville died Aug. 5, 2000, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
She was born Dec. 3, 1962, in Midland, Texas, to Earl and Rosey Cabler Allmond. She was a bus driver for the Bentonville School District and attended Park Street Baptist Church. She was a former member of the California Conservation Corps.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Appling of the home; two sons, Joshua E. Farrar and Samuel Aaron Appling, both of the home: her parents of Bentonville; two brothers, Tommy Allmond of Dallas, Texas, and Daniel Allmond of Tampa, Fla.; four sisters, Evelyn Roughton of Bentonville, Nancy Barham of Taft, Calif., Jean Garcia of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Deborah Landreth of Paris, Texas.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bentonville Cemetery with the Rev. Ronald Roughion officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Burns Funeral Home in Bentonville.
