Mike Raymond Rasberry, 20, of El Dorado, who was reported missing in Vietnam April 4, was killed in action, according to a message received Friday from the Defense Department to his mother, Mrs. Richard Jackman. He was born Dec. 8, 1947, in Arkansas, attended El Dorado schools, was graduated from El Dorado High School in 1965 and attended Southern State College in Magnolia. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and was an Eagle Scout. Funeral arrangements, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Other survivors include his stepfather, Richard Jackman; one brothers, Rusty; and one sister, Patti; all of El Dorado; his paternal grandfather, R. J. Rasberry, of near Haynesville, La., and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Ogden, Sparkman. (El Dorado Times - April 15, 1968)
