FAYETTEVILLE — Jesse Verge Stanley, age 70, of Fayetteville passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014. He was born Jan. 14, 1944, in New London, Texas, to parents Verge Burr Stanley and Effie Louella (Kay) Stanley.
Jesse attended the Richardson Center in Springdale, Ark.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Wanda Still and Retha Moehr.
Jesse is survived by his brother, Jimmie Stanley and wife, LaNell, of Fayetteville; a sister, Joyce Wakefield of Tulsa, Okla.; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation is Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Moores Chapel, Fayetteville, Ark.
Graveside services are 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Mount Comfort Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ark., with Pastor
Russell Kelly officiating.
