SPRINGDALE — Edna Olive Miller, 83, of Springdale passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Walnut Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 20, 1930, in Bayfield, Colo., to Jacob Holland and Florence Edna Landreth Miller.
Olive was a secretary at First Baptist of Springdale for 48 years. She taught multiple Bible study groups and led in the singles ministry for many years. She was also a Mary Kay representative. She traveled to Togo, East Africa, Australia and New Zealand on mission trips; also taking trips with World Changers. She enjoyed painting, sewing and writing.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jacob Edward Miller, Leroy Eugene Miller and Guy Landreth Miller.
Survivors include one sister, Marie (James) Lookingbill; and three sisters-in-law, Geneva Miller, Charlotte Miller and JoAnna Miller; 14 nieces and nephews; and 40 great-nieces and -nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
