SPRINGDALE — James "Teddy" Westbrook, age 50, of Springdale, died Dec. 14, 2011, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Aug. 29, 1961, in Springdale, Ark., the son of James R. and Joyce Shackelford Westbrook.
He enjoyed all sports and going to ballgames of all kinds, hunting, fishing and playing cards.
He was preceded by his father, James Westbrook; one brother, and one sister.
James is survived by his mother, Joyce Westbrook of Springdale; one sister, Teresa Ripple and her husband, Jeff, of Springdale; two nephews, Jacob Ripple and Caleb Ripple; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.memfuneral.com.
