Ephraim H. (Bud) Copeland, 74, Prairie Grove, died April 7 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born April 13, 1902, in Texas, he was the son of Walter Alexander and Melinda Ann Fry Copeland and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alta Sharp Copeland of the home; and three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Hellbaum, Prairie Grove, Mrs. Josie Conway, Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Verna Pendley, Tulsa, Okla.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Luginbuel Funeral Home, Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Fall Creek Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel.

Mrs. Alta Sharp Copeland, 81, of Prairie Grove, died Dec. 19 in a Fayetteville nursing home. Born Sept. 2, 1898, at Strickler, she was the daughter of John W. and Lida Swift Sharp and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, John Sharp of Strickler and W.C. Sharp of Westville, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Gertie Yeager and Mrs. Maggie Jensen of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Annie Quinton of Prairie Grove.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Fall Creek Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fall Creek Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.
