November 25, 1888 - November 9, 1974
Thomas David Henderson, 86, of Huttig, died Sunday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services are to be held today at 2:30 p.m. in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mary Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. He was born Nov. 25, 1887 in Spearsville, La., and was the son of Susanna Risinger and D. B. Henderson. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors include two sons, Edwin Henderson of West Monroe and John T. Henderson of Spencer, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Metta Smith of Huttig, Mrs. Ora Webb of Little Rock; and Mrs. Bo Wells of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Mrs. Varner Dudley of Spearsville, La., and Mrs. Sallie Upshaw of Minden, La.; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will be at Shirley T. Richardson's residence, 1004 Robert E. Lee St. (El Dorado News Times - November 18, 1974)
