November 2, 1898 - January 23, 1968
William H. Turlington, 69, of 823 Crawford St., died in a local hospital Tuesday after a long illness. Born Nov. 2, 1898 in Benson, N.C., he was a retired employe of Querves Oil Co. He was a member of the second Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Linnie Combs Turlington; a son, Shelton Turlington, Benson; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Brady, Raleigh, N.C.; a step-son, Charles Combs, Pine Bluff; a step-daughter, Mrs. Pat Owens, Crossett, a sister, Mrs. Bessie Alexander, Raeford, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Arrangements are by Pratt Funeral Home. (El Dorado Times - January 23, 1968)
