SPRINGDALE — Eugene H. Graham, 85, of Fayetteville died Nov. 19, 2005, in Springdale. He was born June 18, 1920, in Spring Valley to Jolly and Nellie son Graham. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and tinkering with things.
Survivors include his wife, Verna B. Whittle Graham of the home, to whom he was married on March 26, 1946; one son, David Graham and wife Peggy of Fayetteville; two daughters, Jan Graham Cahill and husband Larry of Houston and Donna Atkinson and husband Kevin of Conway; six brothers, Johnie Graham of Springdale, and Glenn, Cecil, Lawrence, Paul and Joey Graham all of Washington; three sisters, Roberta Sizemore and Lavelle Watkins, both of Springdale and Joyce Patterson of Missouri; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sonora Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Henshaw officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.
