Gayle Carter, 84, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on July 23, 2013 in Batesville, Arkansas. Mrs. Carter was born on December 31, 1928 in Princeton, Texas to Loyd and Lena Rickman. Mrs. Carter was a member of the White Water Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas and will be missed by many loving family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Vernon Carter of Fresno, California; two daughters, Deborah Carter of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Julia Baker of Batesville, Arkansas; one brother William Rickman; three grandchildren, Marc Baker of Mountain View, Arkansas, Brandon Baker of Batesville, Arkansas, and Brittany Hipp of Cave City, Arkansas along with one great-grandchild, Caitlin Hipp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Lena Rickman.
A visitation will take place on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 1-2PM at White Water Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Services will take place following the visitation beginning at 2:00PM also at White Water Baptist Church. Brother Phil Sutton is officiating.
Interment will follow at the Historic Cemetery of Mountain View.
Pallbearers are Marc Baker, Brandon Baker, Paul Baker, Phil Sutton, Don Keys, and Matthew Hipp.
