Mrs. Eugenia Boggs Bidwell, age 70, died at her home in DeQueen Sunday at 2 a.m. She was the wife of a retired minister and a formers resident of Mt. Holly, where her husband was, for a number of years, pastor of the Mt. Holly Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star in DeQueen. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Grover C. Bidwell of DeQueen; five sons, Dr. Robert L. Bidwell of Mexico City, Mex.; Major David M. Bidwell of Oceanside, Calif., Sgt. Jay f. Bidwell of Santa Anna, Calif.; Grover E. Bidwell of DeQueen and Richard D. Bidwell of El Dorado; two daughters, Mrs. J. A. Butler of Bernet, Tex., and Mrs. J. D. Delap of Morganfield, Ky.; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday ast Mt. Holly with Rev. John G. Barton, pastor of the Mt. Holly Presbyterian Church and the Westminister Presbyterian Church of El Dorado, officiating. Further arrangements are incomplete pending the arrival of members of the family. Services will be under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home of DeQueen. (El Dorado Times - February 22, 1966)
