Gladys Bailey, age 70 of Conway, formerly of Little Rock died Tuesday, February 21st, 2006. She was born July 30, 1935 in Conway to the late Tab (Doc) and Vera Lovett Powell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Bailey, Sr. who died in December of 2002. Gladys was Broker/Owner of ACR Realty in Little Rock where she and Richard also owned and managed several rental properties and a service station business until their retirement in 1995 when they moved to Conway. She was a member of the Martindale Baptist Church.
She is survived by her three children: Richard L. Bailey, Jr. of Greenbrier, Randy J. Bailey of Conway and Linda K. Bailey Stephens of Greenbrier; by three grandchildren: Zach and Rachel Bailey of Greenbrier and Kelly Stephens-Vickery of Conway; and by three sisters: Betty Harris of Springdale, Lois Strickland of Mayflower and Veota Hird of Conway.
Graveside funeral services will be Friday, 2:00 pm, February 24th at the Cadron Valley Cemetery officiated by Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday at Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Conway (501.327.7727). Online guest register: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
Pallbearers are: Lee Bailey, Randy Bailey, Donny Stephens, Zach Bailey, Lynn Chambers and Jimmy Pruitt.
