Mrs. Eliza Ellen Shipp White, 87, of Route 2, Fayetteville died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 10, 1884 at Dutton, the daughter of Taylor and Selah Witt Shipp, and was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Virgle White of Lowell; three daughters, Mrs. Erma Ball and Mrs. Berta Teague, both of Fayetteville and Mrs. Dalta Rogers of Modesto, Calif.; two brothers, John Shipp of Fayetteville and Harrison Shipp of Winslow; three sisters, Mrs. Rachel Harriman of Huntsville, Mrs. Alice Cooper of Bentonville and Mrs. Stella Gregory of Modesto, seven grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel with burial in Stearns Cemetery.
