Miss Bess Oliver, 95, 611 Oliver Road, Fayetteville, died April 28 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Dec. 27, 1879, at Fayetteville, she was the daughter of Charles M. and Ella Virginia Cardwell Oliver, a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Central United Methodist Church. She was a retired school teacher, a member of Arkansas Education Assn., Golden Age Club, and had belonged to several circles of UMW.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. C.B. Moling, Kansas City, Mo.; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, with Dr. Joel Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Ghering Chapel (Stearns) Cemetery under the direction of Moore's.
