Prairie Grove — Mrs. Laura Elizabeth Howell Sharp, 92, died Thursday at her home in Prairie Grove. Born March 21, 1881 in Prairie Grove, the daughter of Wilburn and Lucinda Carney Howell, she was a Methodist.
She is survived by one son, Loyd of Prairie Grove; three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Loftin and Mrs. Roxie Rieff of Prairie Grove, and Mrs. Ila Morrison of Farmington; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Saturday, May 12 at 4 p.m. at the Fall Creek Church near Strickler with burial in Fall Creek Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
