Mrs. J. P. Brower Dies Today
Lived Entire Life on North College
Mrs. Edith Davies Brower died at 9 o'clock this morning at her home on 207 N. College. She had been ill since February.
Mrs. Brower was born in Fayetteville, Oct. 6, 1881 and had lived her entire life in the home on North College where she died. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Samuel Wilson Davies and Sallie Adams Davis.
A member of First Presbyterian church, Mrs. Brower was active in church work and in civic work in Fayetteville. She was the wife of the late James P. Brower.
Surviving are three sisters and a brother: Mrs. Louis R. Ash of Kansas City, Mrs. Cloyd D. Head of Shreveport, Miss Mary Lou Davis of Fayetteville and St. Joseph, Mo., and Sam G. Davies of Little Rock. Two nieces and six nephews also survive.
Funeral arrangements in charge of Nelson-Savage funeral home had not been completed today.
