January 19, 1908 - January 19, 1965
Grady L. Perdue, 56, of 506 W. first St., was killed early Tuesday morning when he fell some 200 feet from a construction derrick in Wood River, Ill. Mr. Perdue was born Jan. 19, 1909 and was the son of Walter and Bamma Hearin Perdue. He had spent most of his life in El Dorado. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dovie Perdue of El Dorado; his parents, both of El Dorado; a brother, Hubert W. Perdue of El Dorado; and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Burson of El Dorado. Funeral arrangements will be under direction of Rumph Mortuary. (The El Dorado Times - January 19, 1965)
