Bill Oliver, 80, of Hot Springs, died March 21, 2015.

Born Sept. 13, 1934, he was the son of Arthur and Noma Oliver. He was a graduate of Lynn High School. In 1963, he and his wife moved to Hot Springs, where he managed the retail stores Sterling, Magic Mart and Alco for over 30 years. He and his brothers sang in The Oliver Brothers Quartet, performing gospel music around the Hot Springs area. He was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church for over 50 years.

Survivors include his wife, Nita Oliver; two daughters, Tammy Thomas and husband Jim, and Lisa McFee and husband Scott; five grandchildren, Mathew Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Elizabeth Honeycutt, Kirbi Holoch and Kori Wheatley; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral was Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Oaklawn Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held today at noon at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lynn. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Gross Funeral Home of Hot Springs.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Life Center at Oaklawn Baptist Church.
