Pioneer Cemetery
About the year 1826 John Miller, Robert Crittenden, Charles Kelley and Richard Searcy gave and dedicated this plot of ground to the towmn of Batesville to be used as a burial place. On April 5, 1856 the cemetery property, then called the Cedar Grove, was deeded to the town by Miller, John Ringgold.
