Hazel South Hoyle, 91 of Russellville, Arkansas went to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 6, 2015. She was born October 5, 1923 in Bristol, Tennessee to Jacob and Elizabeth Stitt. She was preceded in death by two husbands: James C. South and Alvin Hoyle; and one son C. David South. She is survived by three sons: Aaron (Carol) South of Russellville, Thom (Judy) South of Conway, and Nathan South of Vientiane, Laos; and one daughter Valorie (Morris) Byram of Forrest, Virginia; 15 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. She was a faithful pastor's wife for many years and served the Lord by planting new churches in Missouri, Texas, New Mexico, and Arkansas. The last new church plant she worked with was Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas. After her first husband retired they moved to Greenbrier (Springhill area) where she worked for many years as a teacher's aid at Greenbrier Elementary School. At the time of her death she was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Russellville. She made many life-long friends from the many places she lived. A family and friends visitation will be at Roller-McNutt Funeral home on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral will be Wednesday, June 10, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Russellville followed by burial at Springhill Cemetery near Greenbrier at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Lifeword Broadcast Ministry, Central Baptist College, or BMA Seminary.
