Connie Louise Linn, 81 of Conway, went to be with the Lord, Monday, July 12, 2004.
She was born December 22, 1922 in Bee Branch to the late John Wesley Ward and Sarah Catherine Edwards Ward. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Sam, Gene, Charlie, Ernest Ward, and four sisters, Etta Outland, Julie Cossey, Wilma Ward, and Gleniss Ward.
Mrs. Linn retired from Conway Human Development Center after 22 years and was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, and gardening, but her favorite pastimes were being with her family and playing with her six great-grandsons.
Survivors include a daughter, Nina Kirkpatrick of Conway; two sons, Johnny Linn and wife Donna of Greenbrier, Rob Linn and wife Ann of Greenbrier; five grandchildren, Tina Irby and Jarret Hogan of Conway, Charlotte Green and Chris Linn of Greenbrier, Shannon Linn of Clinton; and eight great-grandchildren, Britteny Irby, Johnny Linn Green, Quinton Linn, Dylan Linn, Colten Linn, Jayden Linn, Hunter Linn, and Jenna Gray.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Roller-McNutt Chapel, Conway, with Rev. Johnnie Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers are Jarret Hogan, Barry Irby, Chris Linn, Charles Green, Johnny Linn Green, Bill Day, Dwight Love, and Danny Murchison. Honorary pallbearers are Reece Thacker and Shannon Linn.
