October 22, 1894 - November 26, 1968
S. A. Brewster, 74, of 706 El Dorado Ave., died Tuesday in a local hospital following a short illness. Born Oct. 22, 1894 in Hot Springs. Mr. Brewster had resided in El Dorado for seven years. He was manager of the City Laundry of Camden. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Tressie Draper Brewster, El Dorado; two sons, Lawrence J. Brewster, U>S> Army, Germany, and Glenn Dale Brewster, Graham, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Benjamin and Mrs. Sammilee Bear, both of Stillwater, Okla., and Mrs. Ann Hardy, Watervalley, Miss.; two stepsons, Paul Beckwith, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Randy Pickett, West Monroe, La.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Inez Matthews, El Dorado and Mrs. Margie Murphy, Calion; a brother, T. J. Brewster, Madill, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Quiett and Mrs. Bobbie Crowell, New Orleans, La.; 29 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Rumph Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Woodrow Benton officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery on the Junction City Road.
