LAWSON JACKSON DIES AT 3:30 P.M.

Lawson Jackson died at 3:30 this afternoon at the U.S. Veterans Hospital, where he had been a patient for some time. He was a member of a pioneer Washington county family and a brother of former County Judge Homer Jackson.

Funeral Sunday 2 p.m. For Lawson Jackson

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Nelson Savage chapel, for Lawson Jackson, 45, who died at the US Veterans hospital yesterday afternoon.

Rev. W. G. Hull will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: J. C. Wilson, Herbert Lewis, Arthur Davidson, Ed Fleenor, Lem Guinn, E. P. Watson, and Steve Ratliff.

Mr. Jackson, member of a well known pioneer family prominent in local and state affairs, was born July 18, 1893, at Fayetteville, son of Everett and Fannie Crouch Jackson.

Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Homer, Robert, Harry, Julius and Dawson, a twin brother, all of Fayetteville, and Tom of Summers, Mrs. Martha Rieff, Mrs. Vonza Horton of Fayetteville and Mrs. Herman Kerksieck of Ulm, Ark. He was a nephew of Miss Alice Jackson of Fayetteville.
