Obituary
tHerbert "Herb" Thomas McNulty, 84, passed away Friday, Nov. 8, in Greenbrier, Ark. He was born on Jan. 23, 1929, to Joseph and Margaret McNulty in Halifax, Nova Scotia. On Nov. 5, 1952, he married Marjorie Grace Dawe in Lake Forest, Ill. He served his country proudly for 26 years in the United States Air Force. Herb also worked as a postman in the United States Postal Service for 17 years. He was known for his witty sense of humor and his love for animals. He was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan and could always be seen wearing his Boston caps proudly.Herb is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marjorie Grace, and his three sons: Thomas (Beverly) McNulty of Greenbrier, Dennis (Becky) McNulty of Stafford, Va,, and James McNulty of Hartland, Maine. He is survived by eight grand children and ten great-grand children.He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joseph McNulty of Cape May, New Jersey.The family expresses a sincere gratitude to Patrick and Susan Dickens of Covenant Care in Springhill, Ark, Baptist Health Hospice and Dr. Bart Throneberry for their loving care and support. There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Republican Cemetery. The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11, at the Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
