Maria Esther Sanchez Wilson of Calico Rock, Arkansas
Maria Esther Sanchez Wilson, daughter of the late Benjamin Flores Sanchez and Maria Esther Flores Sanchez, was born January 18, 1925 in Aquascalientes, Old Mexico. She departed this life December 11, 2013 at her home in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 88 years, 10 months and 23 days. She was united in marriage to Sanford Wilson on January 25, 1952 in Monterey, Old Mexico and to this union four children were born. She spent her life as a daughter, sister, niece, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Mountain Home.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law: Victor and Patricia Wilson of Carrollton, Texas and Edward Wilson of the home; one daughter and son-in-law: Maria Leticia "Tish" and Frank Wrinkle of Mountain View; two brothers Humberto Sanchez and Benjamin F. Sanchez both of Dallas; Texas; one sister: Maria Louisa Sanchez of San Antonio, Texas, 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son: Stan Wilson and two grandchildren: Deixie Louise Wilson and Dustin B. Wilson.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will be Saturday, December 14 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
