James B. Murray, 60, 1810 S. 28th St., Rogers, died Sept. 14 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born July 8, 1914, at Mullen, Neb., he was the son of James Thomas and Bertha Lee Pearman Murray, and was a building and construction contractor, member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Rogers and Bentonville Elks Lodges, and was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jean Murray of the home; two sons, James Murray Jr., Springdale, and Steven Murray, Fort Worth, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Gray, Little Rock; one brother, Clyde Murray, Houston, Tex., and four grandchildren.
Rosary services were said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Callison Chapel in Rogers, and mass was held today at 11:30 a.m at St. Vincent dePaul Church. Burial was in St. Vincent dePaul Cemetery under direction of Callison.
