James L. McKinley, 86, a retired accountant and resident of Rogers for 27 years, died in Rogers Memorial Hospital this morning.
He was born Jan. 3, 1886 in Mineral Point, Wis. He was raised there and served as an accountant for the Luse-Stevenson Corp. of Chicago.
He retired 27 years ago and moved to Rogers. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Adelaide Frank McKinley of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Jane W. Worobec and Mrs. Ruth Drucker both of Sturgeon Bay, Wis.; two sons, Robert McKinley of Homewood, Ill., and Charles McKinley of Port Huron, Mich.; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Burns Funeral Chapel in Rogers. Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers with the Rev. Francis J. Janesko officiating.
Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. Burns Funeral Home of Rogers is in charge of arrangements.
